The crews are planning on removing sidewalks in the downtown commercial district next Tuesday, September 29th or Wednesday, September 30th.
Please watch for equipment movement during that time and be mindful of signage and barricades - they are there for a reason.
It is finally time for concrete!
The contractor is starting to set string line for sidewalk, curb and gutter. The plan as of today is to start pouring this Wednesday, weather permitting.
Please have all vehicles out of your driveways and off the street. You will not be able to drive on the concrete until it is fully cured and they backfill!
If your vehicle is in the driveway when they pour, it will be stuck there. If you drive over the concrete before it is cured and it cracks or is damaged, it may be removed and re-poured at your expense. Try to park on a street not in the construction. You can park on your street overnight as long as it is moved early the next day so it is not in the way for them to pour.
